LaRocco Counseling is hiring a Mental Health Counselor. Counselor must have a minimum of a 4-year bachelor’s degree in the Human Service field combined with a minimum of 1 year experience working directly with mental health clients
In addition, the candidate must be able to obtain both child-line clearance and criminal background clearance to work in the mental health field.
LaRocco Counseling only considers candidates of high moral character and clean and sober lifestyle that are dedicated to individuals that are suffering from addiction.
We are hiring for FT and PT work to include early evening hours
NO WEEKEND WORK/MAJOR HOLIDAYS OFF/VERY COMPETITIVE PAY. If you are not available in the evenings or do not meet the above-mentioned criteria, please do not apply.
Responsibilities of the counselor are but not limited to:
Conducting group and individual therapy
Development and incorporation of treatment plans
Treatment plan updates, case consults, intake, admission and assessment information
Conducting urine drug screens
Communication with various resources in the community
Knowledge and ability to incorporate evidence and abstinence-based treatment models
